There are three elements of stairs that really interest me. The first being the architectural perspective. Rising stair ways provide a great geometrical viewpoint.Then there is the endless form of stairs giving a spiritual and perfect repesentation. Such as the curve of a stairway following that lovely flowing logarithmic spiral, the golden ratio. Lastly I look to enhance the art form by including the human element. It is a real joy to capture an unpredictable person, whose movement or expression can add to that which bridges a distance between floors.
